Diversified Technology Solutions, Inc. was originally a South Dakota company established March 26, 2002 by Guy Johnson and Malcolm Gibson. Originally the company focused on local Information Technology (IT) projects which included voice and data infrastructure installations and video surveillance systems. In 2005 the company decided to pursue SBA 8(a) certification in the Small Business Development Program and began switching focus towards general contracting. In 2006 Sean Harmon became a partner and DTS relocated it's headquarters to it's current location in Cantonment, Florida. In December of 2010 the company's founder and visionary leader, Guy Johnson, passed away unexpectedly. The company's directors and employees turned to Guy's eldest son, Alex Johnson, to help pick up the pieces and continue to steer DTS South down its path for success.
